The Illinois Credit Union Foundation is the outward expression of the “People Helping People” philosophy.
The credit union difference is about taking care of people first. Credit unions do just that by providing exceptional financial service and benefits to their members and the communities they serve.
Through credit union support, the Illinois Credit Union Foundation has awarded more than $3.8 million in scholarships, community service grants, and emergency assistance since its inception in 1978.
Furthermore, through the Foundation’s efforts, Illinois credit unions consistently rank in the top 10 in the country by the National Youth Involvement Board in number of students reached through financial literacy presentations
We know that you already make a huge difference to your members and in your community, but by giving to the Foundation, you can positively impact credit unions across Illinois.
In the following video, Illinois Credit Union Foundation Board Chairman, Mike Lee, discusses the importance of the credit union movement and the ways in which you can help credit unions across Illinois continue to thrive. To view this video, please click on the image below.
